I braided Aly's hair for bed last night. It left her hair just as curly/wavy as normal but no sneaky snakes. She was so happy with it that she asked me to braid it again. Not a problem here if it makes brushing it easier.
It is hard to believe that her hair is really that long. It is also hard to believe that she was almost bald for 18 months. When she did get hair, it was thin and straight. By 2, the curls just exploded. I would not want it any other way. Her curls definately compliment her.
