Storm Carnage

As the first red cell passed right over our house, the siding from the garage was ripped from the house.
The ironic part of this is that on Sunday we power washed this part of the house and noticed that the siding was loose. When the wind came in perpendicular with the house, SWOOSH!....away went the siding.

When the second red cell went over our house, wind, rain and hail joined the party. The wind was so strong that it picked up the trampoline and pushed it over. It was up the hill fairly close to the house. Wayne went out to flip the trampoline back onto it's legs but just as he went out the hail came down....OUCH! He took cover under the tipped trampoline. He could not get it turned over. I had to go out to help. We got it flipped. The only damage was to the net frame. It is all bent over.

We were out of power from 6 pm - 2 am. We called the power company and their prediction for the return of power was 6:30 pm today. We were lucky that it came on earlier. We were also lucky that the storm cooled things down here.
